To commemorate the centenary of WW1, a brand new series of events led by Major-General Andy Salmon (rtd) CMG OBE where inspiring stories and powerful testimony & poetry from veterans servicemen & women (WWII through to more recent conflicts) with music delivered by renowned concert pianist Nicholas McCarthy & art by artist Richard Rochester. Staged in the stunning settings of Clifton Cathedral, St James’s Piccadilly, Canterbury Festival and Exeter Cathedral. 2 July 2018 - Dr Nick Grace OBE is now the Assistant Creative Director for Journey through Conflict 'From then until now'. This artistic event marks the Centenary of the end of WW1 and features renowned one-handed concert pianist Nicholas McCarthy, whose performance of Left-Hand Alone repertoire composed for injured service personnel during WW1, is fused with the artwork, voices, poetry and stories of our veterans’ personal experiences of conflict, injury and rehabilitation.
2 June 2018 - Dr Nick Grace OBE conducted the Japanese Ground Self Defence Force Central Band at a concert in the Tokyo, Bunka Kaika Main Hall (photo below).
